Josephine Yau

Ms. Yau was awarded C. H. Chan Overseas Scholarship to pursue her undergraduate studies at Nottingham University in the United Kingdom. After graduating with First Class Honours in Finance, Accounting, and Management (B.Sc.), she joined an international bank as a management trainee and is now Vice-President responsible for large corporate clients in commercial banking.

 

Back in college, Ms. Yau served as President of Travel Society at Nottingham University, which organized cultural exchange trips for international students to explore the United Kingdom and other European countries. Under her leadership, the Society was noted for its significant growth in membership. Travelling and cultural exchange aside, Ms. Yau is equally keen on serving society as shown in her active participation in Hong Kong Leo Club of Queensway. She has organized youth leadership development programmes and led youth volunteers to support local teaching and visit underprivileged agricultural families in rural areas in the Mainland China.
