Mr. Felix Choi graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a degree in Government and Public Administration. He is currently a candidate for Master Degree at the School of Government, Peking University, with political theory and public policy as his major areas of research. Mr. Choi founded the Friends of the Family (HK) Social Enterprise with a view to solve social problems via advocacy for family friendly policy in Hong Kong.
As a social entrepreneur, Mr. Choi strongly believes in the value of social participation and acknowledges youth as an impetus to foster social advancement. Since high school, he started to actively participate in youth programmes and social affairs. He was chairman and vice chairman of numbers of government advisory bodies and youth groups. He currently serves as Member of Eastern District Youth Programme Committee, Member of the Obscene and Indecent Articles Panel of Adjudicators, Vice Chairman of the Management Committee of Hong Kong Young Leaders Development Association and Founding Vice President of Eastern District Youth Association, and was formerly Co-opted Member of the Commission on Youth as well as Member of the Panel of Film Censorship Advisers. Mr. Choi was awarded Outstanding Youth Award and Youth Leadership Award in 2013 and Outstanding Youth of Eastern District in 2012.
