Mr. Alex Fan graduated from the University of Hong Kong with BBA(Law), LLB and PCLL. He completed his postgraduate studies at King’s College London and was awarded Master of Laws LLM in International Commercial Law (with distinction) and Associate of King’s College (AKC). Upon graduation, he joined the Department of Justice, HKSAR. He is now a barrister in private practice, as well as serving as a Part-time Lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Hong Kong and a Visiting Lecturer at Law School of Shenzhen University.

 

Mr. Fan, as was a university student, established Hong Kong Young Leaders Development Association of which he is the Founding President. His substantial contribution to youth development in Hong Kong has earned him numerous significant awards, including Hong Kong Youth Service Award 2014 and Hong Kong Outstanding Youth Volunteers Award. Since 2014, he has been appointed by the HKSAR Government as a Member of the Commission on Youth. Mr. Fan is passionate about art and culture, with a special interest in piano and organ music. He is undertaking part-time studies in the programme of Master of Arts in Music at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is also a church choir conductor and organist.
